The answers are:
1. Be very careful when handling any fireworks. WRONG.
When it comes to fireworks, being very careful is not enough. Fireworks are very unstable, and large numbers of people are hurt from fireworks every year. Children account for more than 50% of fireworks injuries. All fireworks can cause injuries, not just the obviously threatening flying bottle rockets and projectile-firing Roman Candles. Something as seemingly harmless as a sparkler, for example, burns at 1,800 degrees F, which is hot enough to melt gold.
2. Use fireworks only with adult supervision. WRONG.
When it comes to fireworks adult supervision does not prevent injuries. Each year hundreds of adults and children are injured by fireworks. Adults and children should leave the fireworks to the professionals and be safe.
3. Leave fireworks displays to the professionals. RIGHT.
Professionals are specially trained to handle and set off fireworks and to do so safely. Leave fireworks displays to the professionals.
