The answers are:

1. Not worry about throwing them at someone if the stones are round. WRONG.

Even though stones and pebbles are round the impact or force of a stone or pebble can injure the eye just as badly as a pointed object.

2. Never throw them directly at anyone. RIGHT.
The impact or force of a stone or rock that hits someone in the eye can injure the eye or even cause blindness. Always throw objects in a direction away from people.

3. Wear safety goggles if you want to crush or smash rocks or stones. RIGHT.
Wearing goggles is a must if you are crushing or smashing rocks or stones. When you hit the rocks they can splinter and become sharp pointed objects and fly into your face and damage your eyes or even blind you. Be careful in winter, too. Even ice can react the same way as a rock and splinter or shatter. Don't throw ice at anyone, and if you want to crack ice wear your safety goggles.
